In these workshops, I lead others through the practice of Mantra Chanting, explaining how it works and discussing their different meanings. I share a bit about the practice of Bhakti (devotional) Yoga, and sometimes incorporate elements of Shamanic Soul Song Rituals like toning and connecting with the sound of your soul.
Mantra is a powerful practice as the words we sing carry primal and creative vibrations. I have a deep love for it, and am consistently guided to learn and share different mantras through my own evolution. It is a gift to do the same for others.
When we practice in groups, and share our sounds with each other, we become closer to expressing the Oneness that is pure vibration as we resonate with each other through the harmony of singing these sacred, universal sounds.
The Bhakti Mantra Workshop is lead like a ritualistic celebration merged with a Kirtan and an interactive meditation. There is singing, dancing, and an activation of primal energy from the root to the crown of the head. All of the rituals I perform have similar qualities of tuning deeply into the heart, and coming to a more centered space. There is also the environment of a sensual celebration, through singing, dancing, and honoring all of life as our teacher.
My deep love for Neem Karoli Baba, Shyamdas, Ram Dass, and Krishna Das (as well as the entire Satsang of Love Serve Remember) have helped to inspire these workshops. I infuse the wisdom, practices, and philosophies of our Bhakti Yoga lineage in these rituals.
